Chapter 1

a. I learned very little in a classroom where a teacher did not care if students fell behind. I fell behind in math and was doomed right there because I couldn't learn the material fast enough to keep up

b. We used music to learn stuff in math. It was very fun and engaging. The difference between this classroom and the one before was that it was fun to learn and no one was left behind.

2. I am willing to move into the new teaching methods of the 21st century by using technology and making learning fun. The 20th century teaching methods are old and outdated. I will use technology to help better my students for the world.

Chapter 4
  1. I used many 21st century skills when making the activities in class. These skills made the newsletters more creative, organized, and professional. A drop caps made a start of a sentence look extremely fancy. Things like columns and tables made the material more organized. A watermark, clip art, and a border make the material more creative.
  2. When using technology in the classroom, it is very important to understand the thinking processes of your students. With earlier grades, a lot of them like to be moving. I can use certain videos that will help the kids learn while moving. Videos can also help visual learners. Newsletters can be made on Microsoft to help my students understand what they are supposed to be doing. Things like this can help me reach all my students in the classroom.
